First, I will give credit to the Triad Electronics technician that came to the house and diagnosed the issue with our TV. He was professional and payment was rendered ($90) for the service he offered. He explained that a part would need to be replaced and installed and would cost an additional $325 ($170 for part itself). After some research, we decided it would not be worth the cost as new TVs are fairly inexpensive these days. We informed Triad Electronics that we would not be going forward with the repair and were met with unprofessionalism, bullying, and threats to â??report you to the credit bureauâ?? if a restocking fee was not paid. There was no mention of any restocking fee at the time of diagnostics and ordering of the part. IN fact, he could not even tell me how much this fee would be. And we had no contract holding us to complete the recommended repair. When the manager/owner was spoken to, we were met with the same level of disrespect and unprofessionalism. These people really give hardworking tradesmen a bad name and clearly they have no clue how to treat customers. We would NEVER recommend these people for your electronic repair.
