Gift Certificate Rip Off.
My wife bought a gift certificate for me at The Boardroom from one of the discount sites...I believe Rock 92. There were no limitations of services on the gift certificate. I called to schedule a massage and the lady who answered the phone said "Oh, that gift certificate is not valid for a massage and you should have read the website". Since that's really all I wanted and it was not stated that some services were not covered under the offer, I asked for a refund. Guess what, no refunds either.
Since these people are cheating customers who are buying their gift certificates instead of offering whatever services they provide to gain new customers, I find that very short sighted and hope that anyone reading this will remember my experience with them before darkening their doorstep. Read the Rock 92 website before scheduling an appointment at The Boardroom before making an appointment? Come on!
Franchise Owner Response: The Boardroom is not trying to cheat anyone. ? price offers thru radio stations CLEARLY state that Retail Products, Tip & Massage are excluded, d/t being non absorbable expenses. This person had the certificate for almost a yr, but waited until a few days before expiration to redeem. By then the offer details were gone from the radio website. B/C of similar problems w/ online offers we will NOT participate in these promotions in the future. It simply is not worth it.
Best salon for men.. I have been at The Boardroom Salon two times. The owners and employees are very gracious. Clients can enjoy the big screen tv, play a game of pool, and enjoy a drink of your choice on the house while you are there. I never want to leave!
