Great Hair Salon. Ego Hour is an overall great experience every time I visit. The staff is unbelievably friendly and the salon is always so clean! Its a convenient location and there are many lines of hair products available. You always feel welcome as you are greeted at the front door. I have been to many high-end salons in the WS area and I would rank this one right at the top. Liz is so much fun! Its like visiting with an old friend each time I go. She remembers all of the details of our previous conversations, which makes it fun to converse while getting my hair cut and colored. She is very honest about styles and colors and always has great suggestions. She has now become my teen boys' favorite hair designer as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great Service. A good friend is the one that got me going to Ego Hour 2 yrs ago and the service has done nothing but get better, I have made even more friends with the designers that work there, they are the best and Liz is great with always giving me the right cut and products to use in my hair.

Great Service. I've been coming to Ego Hr. for the past 3 years or so, and even though I live in Raleigh now, I still drive back to Winston to have my hair done at Ego Hr. Leigh Tackett has been my stylist since the beginning and she does a great job on color, cuts, pretty much everything. I've gotten my hair done elsewhere ONCE in the past 4 years and it was the worst experience I've ever had. Leigh is the only person I can trust with my head, she does my regular cuts, colors, and did my updo for my brothers wedding and will be doing my updo for my own wedding this coming year. In fact she's so good I even sometimes say "surprise me" when she asks what I want done, and I still have never left disappointed :)

The staff is friendly and Leigh has become a friend I enjoy visiting for my regular stylings. Thanks Leigh, you're the best!

Too high priced for mediocre service. Sorry but I had to go back for them to fix my color.... They say everybody goes through training ,but that does not make you good at it ... Sorry way to high.. for box hair color. I could have done this I think ? I'm gonna keep looking for a good salon.....

World's Best Salon!. I just stumbled upon this site and noticed some feedback about Ego Hour that is a very sharp contrast to my personal experiences. I have been a faithful client at Ego Hour for 25 years, and have referred everyone who will listen. The staff is impeccably trained and their work reflects this. My stylist has become a very dear friend who always looks out for the best for me. She keeps my style cutting-edge so I never have to worry about my hair being behind-the-times.

I also have been a model for the cut and color classes, which most times include the newest hires and have always been more than pleased. Ego Hour will always be my number one choice!

Best Hair Color EVER. HATS OFF TO STYLIST MEGAN BURTON!! GREAT JOB!! I AM VERY PICKY WITH WHOM I LET COLOR,CUT, OR STYLE MY HAIR. I HAVE VERY STUBBORN AND DIFFICULT HAIR TO COLOR DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF GRAY IN IT. MY HAIR HAS NEVER LOOKED SOOOO GOOD. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH IT. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANYONE ELSE AS LONG AS MEGAN IS AROUND. GIVE HER A TRY; YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY. I AM TOLD SHE WORKS AT THIS SALON AS WELL AS THE ONE ON STRATFORD RD.

Works for me!. Rachel does my hair and I love her. She always gives me a nice clean cut and good color. The salon is clean and organized.
