Diamond in the Ruff!. This place is like a diamond in the ruff. It is located in the corner of Reynolda Manor Shopping Center, so it might be hard to spot, although they do have a nice sign above their location. It is very close to Wake Forest University (less than 5 minutes distance) off of Polo Road. The restaurant serves generous portions of amazing food for a very reasonable price.The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, and the service is great! Also, they offer complimentary little desserts at the end of your meal. Oh, and their sanitation grade is a 98%... that is IMPRESSIVE-- especially since they are a small-medium sized restaurant.

I encourage anyone who is in the area and craving some good food to go to Malay Chinese Restaurant from Monday-Thurs. 11 A.M.-9 P.M., or Friday and Saturday from 11 A.M.-10 P.M. They offer take out if you're in a rush! Just call ahead #336-722-7750.

Fantastic Chinese food (and their satay is awesome too). This small, obscure Chinese restaurant offers basic Chinese cuisine with tremendous taste and unbelievably low prices. Lunch entrees, which are roughly half the price of dinner entrees, are nevertheless equal to dinner entrees in size. Their beef and chicken satay are also excellent.

Easily the best Chinese restaurant in the Winston-Salem area.

a rare find in W-S. I recently moved to Winston-Salem having always lived in places like Chicago and New York . . . The Malaysian food is very, very nicely done, and this is one of the few restaurants in town that is competitive with restaurants in larger cities . . .
