Worst pizza delivery service I've ever experienced.
Looked up pizza places nearest to where I live in Winston-Salem. Have always good experiences with Papa Johns in previous places I have lived, and they are right down the street.
We placed the order, were told that it would be less than an hour for delivery.
Two and a half hours later, after three phone calls enquiring about the status of our ordered food, our pizza finally arrives. The man delivering it made several illogical excuses attempting to justify an all-afternoon pizza delivery. We were promised that a free pizza coupon would be sent a week later to make up for our troubles.
Now it is three weeks later, and still no pizza coupon. This will probably always be the worst, most disrespectful way I've ordered delivery from anywhere. I do not recommend this place, specifically the one located on Hawthorne, to anyone. Upper Crust may have inferior pizza taste, but they aren't a terribly run, mean-spirited business like Papa Johns.
The Subway of takeout pizza joints embraces fresh ingredients and store-made crusts..
These bright white storefronts are accented with green and red details and photos of the chain's boyish founder. The simple menu focuses on standard pies and chicken-centric specialty pizzas--the Hawaiian BBQ, BBQ chicken, and bacon and chicken club--each topped with fresh ingredients like baby portobello mushrooms and roma tomatoes. A selection of sides includes bread sticks, cheese sticks, chicken strips and a handful of dipping sauces.
