Prices are too high on clothes, toys are priced pretty good.. This was my first visit to Once Upon A Child. I have heard read about them and interested in looking. I was working locally and came across this store and went in to see what they had. I found the toys prices were pretty good, I bought several. I was disappointed in how high the clothes were. My granddaughter has some of the same outfits I had seen and most of them that she had I paid less or the same as what they were asking. I did find a few clothing items on the sale rack and was pleased with those prices. I did buy two clothing items but and had seen more I would have purchased had the prices not been so high. I will keep checking back from time to time when I am passing by but will not go out of my way to shop there because of the high clothing prices for second hand clothes.

Shop, but don't sell there. Once Upon A Child has pretty good prices on clothes, toys, and shoes for children. Some items are in great condition, and others seem as if they shouldn't even be sold (Especially alot of shoes).

While the price to buy items are good for used clothes, etc..and alot cheaper than new ones, I would not advise selling your things to them unless you just do not want to deal with selling it online or at a yard sale. They only give you 1/3 of what they sell it for. So, if a pair of shorts sell for $3 there, they only give you $1. 1/3 goes to you, 1/3 goes to the store. and 1/3 goes to the entire company. So, be aware of how much things go for before you sell your items to them.

I give them 4 stars for variety of items they sell and prices.

Very Nice Staff. It had been quite awhile, since I have sold any clothes at OUAC. After reading reviews, I was almost scared to go! But I went in with my 2 containers, and everyone was nice as can be! They bought about half of my daughter's clothes. She is 12 and so we have some "junior" clothes, some AE clothes they would not take because Plato's has dibs on them. However, I walked out with alot more money than I thought. So if you are like me and are hesitant to go, I say go! The ladies there were great!

Bad Service But Lots of Clothes. Overall the service is terrible and my impression is that most of the staff are very lazy. There are a few shining stars in the mix, but most don't understand customer service.

Though the service is bad the selection of clothes is good and the prices are fair - though they seem to be rising.

Ultimately we continue to shop here, but if the service does not start to improve then we're done.

They gave my $ to someone else!. I used to get decent deals on things I sold to OUAC but lately it seems as if they're giving chump change for $$ stuff. I only got $13 for a nice Crayola drawing desk, a large stuffed horse that your kids can ride on, a baby gate, and several other toys. The Crayola desk alone I expected to get more than $13 for. Then I brought in ny daughters clothes which were all named brand (Gap, Old Navy, Children's Place, Heartstrings) and when I came back they were about to put price tags and hangers on my basket of clothes! I asked what was going on and turns out they gave my $45 to someone else!!! I was so pissed! The girl had to call the woman they gave it to and ask her to bring the $ back which of course she didn't! I had to wait another 25 min for them to go back through the computer and reprice my clothes before I got my money. I couldn't believe it!! I'm not sure if I'll be returning. It's a hit or miss type place. Sometimes you get a deal others you get ripped off! No in between!!

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. This recycling shop for "kids' stuff with previous experience" buys and sells gently used children's clothing, equipment and furniture.

BUY BUT DON'T SELL!. This is a good place to get play clothes or toys! But You have to beware if the clothing have stains or holes. They are priced cheap! There fore those who the buy from and not even getting half of what they paid for it! For example: for a 10 dollar item you might get 1.50. I would not tell anyone to sell unless you just have to get rid of it! You would make double at a yard sale!
