Great Location, Terrible Service, I am a returning guest. When we arrived in the morning no was able to help us with our luggage. We were meet by the innkeeper who was dressed in a tee shirt and barefeet. When we checked into our room the bathroom was dirty, the shades on the windows were broken, the cover for the exhaust fan fell off, and I found a used tampon applicator in the top drawer of the night stand. The breakfast of french toast was cold and hard there was no milk for the cereal and the innkeeper was no where to be found. When she finally came to clean up the dirty dishes which the guest had to bring to the kitchen themselves she was once again barefooted. When the wine and cheese was set out she was not to be found again. The guest had to take care of themselves. I needed to call a cab and went looking for her and found her in her apartment with a friend and was made to wait outside her door while she made the call. I needed to ask a question the next day but she would not acknowledege me because she was talking to her staff in the common dining area. She had no knowledge of any restaurants in the area and made you feel that she could not be bother with your questions. She was not around for check out and the housekeeper had to check out the guests. I made a call to the owner regarding my concerns and he told me he would call me back. It has been about 4 months and he has never called. We have stayed here before and had a very nice time and was treated very well, but we will not be going back again. Both my husband and I have traveled extensively in the United States , Europe, and Caribbean and this is the first time I have written a negative review. So if you choose to stay here the only postive aspect is the location.
