I came here with my husband to get our
taxes done and a man named Kirk Rieger prepared and filed them for us.
During the time we were there, my husband and I realized that this man was not the smartest at what he was doing, but we let it go. Throughout the whole time, which was way longer than we should've been, my husband and I had to keep correcting his own paper work! We aren't accountants! Finally, when we were finished he told us what our refund would be and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount. Fast forward a month later, we get a letter in the mail from the IRS saying that we put down half of our earnings for the year and are getting less than half of what Kirk said we were getting! I am so frustrated and when I spoke to him, he said yes it was his fault that he overlooked and missed a step and that he was sorry, but if we would have bought something additional, he would be able to refund us the amount that we were told we were going to get. I am so upset, the only thing I can do is try and warn people of Kirk. Do not go to this H&R Block, more importantly, if you do, do not let Kirk prepare your taxes!
