Came on a Saturday night at 630. Wait was minimal. Long island ice tea was not very good but the sirloin smoked steak and garlic potatos were excellent. Bread was very tasty. Service and atmosphere is nice much better than a lonestar. Only improvement i would make are the hopuse salads have only a few bits of tomatoes and croutons...maybe add some different veggie or crumbled cheese.
Not as good as they claim to be. Even with reservations, we had to wait over 2.5 hours for a table and then service was less than stellar. Food was not delivered to the whole party at the same time. Food was good, but not as special as they claim to have been. Better service and food at other places.
Authentically Austin. Smoked sirloin has a delicious mesquite flavor. Pair it with a side of chees enchiladas. Yum! Frozen margaritas with a swirl of Sangria are the best this side of Austin.
Editorial Review by Jennifer Wehunt. Thick cuts of juicy steak send vegetarians running at this cowboy paradise.
