An Awesome Salon!.
I'm kind of surprised no one else has reviewed this salon yet! I came here wanting to get my highlights corrected from another salon who got them so dark that you couldn't even tell they were there. I am an African-American female, so I was a little nervous about going to a non-ethnic salon since I wondered if I would be made feel welcomed, would they want to do my hair? etc. Part of what drew me to this salon was because the owner is a senior educator for Paul Mitchell, so I figured she must know her stuff and also know how to hire stylists who know theirs. My stylist was Amanda and she is amazing. When I called she asked me to come in for a consultation and after thoroughly inspecting my hair she presented me with some options for how the highlights could be done. She and the other stylist really made me feel welcomed and not like doing my hair was going to be a chore. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. About an hour after I left the consultation she called me with some more options to consider! I went in the next day for my appointment and Amanda took me right back and had taken the time to pull a couple of magazine pictures so she could make sure we both had the same idea of "caramel colored". She cut my hair and then highlighted it and it looks great and best of all is still healthy. She really takes pride in her work. Since my hair is relaxed also it's not an easy task to color it that light and keep it from being damaged. Amanda did just that. People compliment me all the time on my hair now!! The prices were also very reasonable. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
