Ruined Valentine's Dinner and 5 Year Anniversary.
In a nutshell, this restaurant sucked. It was not only Valentine's Day that we were celebrating, but our five year anniversary as well. We wanted something special and nice and elegant and decided on WS Prime. We had never been there and won't be back. The service was average, but not even as well groomed or mannered as at other chain restaurants where you're paying WAAAAY less. The food was all strange and the lobster bisque tasted ultra fishy like it was maybe not quite right. The "steak" was really just roast beef that was hand carved at our table, and everyone else's that ate there that night, so it was luke warm, but was warmed up by the gravy that was poured over it. It might have amounted to about 3 ounces of steak and our meal was $70 for two of us. (Which, I think was a deal, compared to their regular menu.) The steak was served with bleu cheese mashed potatoes that was so over-powered by the cheese that it made us both sick. The ambiance is outdated and reminded me of the 80's. It was just generally and overall very disappointing. I did not make any attempts to rectify the situation while there, because we were trying to just enjoy our evening out without the kids and I didn't want to make a scene. The favorite part of my meal was my Shirley Temple and the Valet parking.

A Good Steak.
For a hotel restaurant this one isn't so bad. The menu is one size fits all, trying to be everything to everyone, so goes hotel restaurants! I had the Carolina Crab cake appetizer, the 16oz Rib eye ordered medium rare. Service wasn't slow, nor was it fast an okay pace considering it was dinner. The steak was perfectly cooked, something you don't see often. It was well seasoned and served hot. The only accompaniment was mashed potatoes, but they were fantastic and tasted if they were freshly made. I would have like to seen a few vegetables on plate as well. Overall a good experience, would eat there again
