Elegant dining with a splash of southern comfort. Once you walk in, you'll be blown away with the careful balance between elegance, and southern comfort. The food is exquisite, with entree's that blend gourmet dining with southern traditions. I had the Carolina Salmon Flourentine which was cooked to rich perfection, with salmon that fell apart in your mouth, and a sweet potato corn bread that takes you right back to your mom's kitchen.

The wine selection is very large, and the service is attentive, helpful and down right nice. The owners are two of the nicest women you'll ever meet, and very good at what they do. And the ambiance is spectacular with jazz that reminds you of the Cosby Show, and large pieces of art celebrating the diversity of America.

You won't leave with out a satisfied tummy and a huge smile on your face.

One of my favorits in WS-. I love this place. For a southern food place more upscale then I had expected my first visit. With great food from fried chicken, duck and pork chops. When friends come from out of town they all want to return. Can be busy at peak times so may need to wait but its worth it.

Have not been there for brunch but did go to the sister restaurant which sadly closed, and food was excellent and looks like some item are the same including the sweet potato pancakes and chicken tenders one of the best things I've ever eaten- though lots of food.

Excellent Choice. This is one of my favorite lunch time spots. The food is original and wonderful. The desserts are forever changing. The strawberry/apple pie is wonderful!!! The Mambo Chicken Sandwich is out of this world. Good Service. This place stays packed for lunch and dinner... so be prepared to wait. However, the food and atmosphere is well worth the wait. Anyone visiting Winston Salem must eat here!!!!!

Best gourmet Southern comfort food in the area. My favorite restaurant in the Piedmont Triad. Yummy, Southern comfort food served up in a warm, cozy environment. The owners take sincere pride in their food and use local ingredients whenever possible. This place is packed on Friday and Saturday nights--be prepared to wait, even if you have a reservation. Last summer, Dave Chappelle and his posse tried to get a table the night I was there and ended up leaving because it was too packed. Things to try: PImento Cheese with crackers/veggies as a starter, followed by either the shrimp and grits or the stuffed salmon florentine, and sweet potato cheesecake for dessert. Also, the restaurant is in the heart of the Arts District which is getting busier by the day with all the new construction and projects.
